Fiscal and Accounting
We prepare and present all kinds of taxes, as well as the accounting of your company. We manage payroll, social insurance, contracts, settlements, layoffs, etc
In Spain, all businesses have to maintain journals, or accounting reports, to meet Spanish legal requirements. In addition, every business must make a tax declaration, monthly or quarterly, depending on the size of the business.
Whether your business is just getting up and running, or is well established, you want to dedicate your time to ensuring growth – not filing tax declarations and keeping accountancy journals. At CFX we can deal efficiently with your day to day accounting requirements and provide fiscal representation so that you are left free to get on with running your business. Our highly experienced consultants, all of whom speak English, will ensure that your business complies with all fiscal obligations – from tax registration and accountancy records to the preparation and filing of all essential tax documents (and we will also check that you are not paying too much tax!).
In addition, we can handle staff contracts and all matters relating to employing a work force – calculating wages, preparing payslips, and all other necessary work to comply with Spanish labour regulations.
Resident Tax
You are liable for income tax as a resident if you fall in either of the following two categories:
- The headquarters, or main base, of your business, or professional activities, or economic interests is in Spain – whether directly or indirectly.
- You live in Spain for more than 183 days in a calendar year. Sporadic absences are included in determining the length of time a taxpayer is present in Spanish territory, unless you can prove tax residence in another country.
